  • Dr. Brittany Smith, Demonstrating the Need for Intergenerational Trauma-Specific Substance Use Treatment for Mothers Receiving Substance Use Treatment and their Children (Chair: Alfgeir Kristjansson)
  • Dr. Caterina DeFazio, Bystander Interventions for Sexual Assault Prevention Among Students in Greek Life (Chair: Danielle Davidov)
  • Dr. Zachary Ramsey, An Examination of Coping Resources and Strategies among Appalachian Transgender and Gender Nonconforming Adults and Youth (Chair: Christiaan Abildso)
  • Dr. Stephen Heck, Developing and Adapting an Art Therapy Mask Creation (ATMC) Intervention for Individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Across Select Clinical and Non-clinical Settings (Chair: Lesley Cottrell)
  • Dr. Rosalina Mills, Factors Related to Adolescent Anger in Appalachia: Implications for Violence Prevention (Chair: Alfgeir Kristjansson)

Occupational and Environmental Health Sciences 

  • Dr. Brandon Law, Characterizing 4,4’-Methylene Diphenyl Diisocyanate Exposure in Primary Human Epidermal Keratinocytes: A Multi-Omics Approach (Chair: Travis Knuckles)

These students have shown remarkable dedication, conducted quality research and brought innovative contributions to their respective fields.
