Public Health faculty awarded distinguished fellowship designations

Two members of the West Virginia University School of Public Health have been awarded a fellowship with the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM). Anna Allen, MD, MPH, and Jennifer Lultschik, MD, MPH, both serving on the faculty of the Department of Occupational and Environmental Health Sciences and training physicians in the Occupational Medicine Residency Program, received fellowship status following a review of their demonstrated expertise in occupational and environmental medicine and the approval of members of the ACOEM Board of Directors.

With a combined ACOEM membership of nearly 20 years, their fellowship designation is ACOEM’s highest acknowledgment that recognizes years of dedication to exceptional education, leadership and commitment to the specialty.

As fellowship members of ACOEM, Drs. Allen and Lultschik have access to opportunities for education, networking and leadership, including webinars, conferences and committee appointments.

Founded more than a century ago, ACOEM is the nation's largest medical society dedicated to promoting the health of workers through preventive medicine, clinical care, research and education.
