Scholarships

Invest in your future with scholarship opportunities at the WVU School of Public Health.

The School of Public Health offers a limited number of competitive scholarships for admitted students in select in-person undergraduate and graduate programs. Scholarship applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, with priority consideration given to applications submitted by July 1 for fall admission.

Scholarship awards are based on eligibility and available funding and are not guaranteed. Awards are non-renewable and are applied to tuition bills during your first year in the program. Please note that scholarships cannot be deferred to a future term.

How to Apply

  1. Fill out the School of Public Health Scholarship application form.
  2. To be considered for a School of Public Health scholarship, students must also file a FAFSA form by March 1 of the preceding academic year.

Students selected to receive a scholarship will be notified through their WVU student email account (@mix.wvu.edu). Be sure to check your WVU email regularly. Scholarship offers include an acceptance deadline that will be communicated in your notification email. Failure to accept the award by the stated deadline may result in the scholarship being reallocated.
